## A typical broadcast workflow

1. A planner creates the program and schedules its broadcasts.
2. The assigned team opens Show Prep and builds the rundown.
3. Producers complete tasks, add media, and review scripts and timing.
4. An authorized presenter reviews readiness and starts the live workspace.
5. After the show, the team reviews as-run history and exports what it needs.

Publishing editorial content has a separate review and publication workflow. Starting a broadcast live does not publish its editorial drafts.

## Before leaving an editor

Check the save indicator. **Saved** means the server acknowledged the change. If you see a conflict or connection warning, preserve your work and follow [Troubleshooting](/radiotools/daily-work/troubleshooting) before reloading or switching stations.
